Certificate of Sale

A document given to the winning bidder at a foreclosure sale stating their rights to the property once the borrowers redemption period has expired.

Chain of Title

A Glossary Link chain of title is the sequence of historical transfers of Glossary Link title to a property. The "chain" runs from the present owner back to the original owner of the property.
